At the beginning of 2014, Vickie and Jen chose "giving back the community" as the theme for our 51st year in business. Since then, Bell-Anderson has donated over $16,000 to local charities and organizations that were chosen by our staff. The staff members of Bell-Anderson were given funds to donate as they chose and here are a few stories of what they did with them!

Jen Corp, CMCA®, Office Manager, Condo AP Bookkeeper

A.B.C. Forgotten Children Foundation is the foundation I chose and they raise funds for children in the Kent area who are battling cancer. We specifically sponsored a golf tournament at Riverbend Golf Course on their behalf. Sienna Braun and Josiely Vlach are the two girls that the tournament funds went towards this year who are both battling cancer. Gayle also made a gift basket for the tournament as well.

Gayle Duff, CMCA®, Community Association Manager

When Bell-Anderson gave me the opportunity to give some cash to a worthy charity my goal was to try and double the donation.  Rather than select any one charity, this past year I have been able to make and donate gift baskets for Charity Auctions. To Date I have done, 6 baskets for children’s charities.
The first basket went to the Maple Valley Street Rats Scholarship. My Brother in law, Tim was a Street Rat so this one was a perfect fit. This next year you will be hearing a lot from Bell Anderson about the American Brain Tumor Association and we will be challenging  everyone to help us raise funds and awareness for this disease that took Vickie’s Husband, Dawn & Carries Dad  and our Boss from us way to soon.

I also partnered with other employees and made baskets for their charities of choice, Covington Rotary Back Pack Project, Action Athletics, Pediatric Brain Tumor Research and a local golf tournament for two young warriors battling cancer.

The culture of giving at Bell Anderson is genuine from management on. Our employees are generous with their time and talents, for no other reason than we care about people.
